We are looking for a creative, passionate and organised sous chef to join our award winning team. You will have experience working with fresh food creating seasonal menus and daily specials alongside our head chef. We are looking for someone who wants to go that extra mile and has the flair and ambition to create outstanding food. You will have the experience and a friendly approachable manner to manage, motivate and train the team working closely with the head chef. You will have a good understanding of stock control, ordering, GPs and health and hygiene regulations.
£27,000 plus tips.
The Cricketers of Redbourn are currently looking to recruit an experienced assistant manager to join their team. Serving seasonal dishes, this fresh food establishment is winner of Herts Life Pub of the year. You will be working alongside the owners and together you will take this pub/restaurant to the next level. You must be keen to share your wealth of knowledge as well as the general duties that come with this position and you must not be scared to get your hands dirty. As assistant manager you must have at least 1 years experience in a supervisory role, you will need passion for perfection in your work, stamina for hard work, excellent communication skills, determination and commitment. You will be smart, professional and enjoy getting to know the local clientele. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising, training staff and effectively communication with the front and back of house.
The location can be reached by public transport but due to the nature and hours of the business your own transport would be preferred.
£25,000 plus tips.
We are looking for a Commis Chef who has the passion to become a great chef.
Day to day duties for our Commis Chef:
- Running your section
- Prep work and baking of desserts
- Ensuring the health and safety procedures are carried out correctly
- Working closely with the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Input to future specials and menus
Some experience in a Gastro Pub or restaurant experience preferred but training can be given. To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
